"A Portrait of Power" by David Weston

The sight of these enormous Beyer-Garratt hauling a heavy load of wagons was one that greatly impressed David as a boy. An image of sheer power is personified in what was arguably the most glamorous of all designs for the freight locomotive to be built in this country. David watched these giants at work at Toton, and often on the long haul through Leicestershire on their way South.
Some of these prints borders may have a little light fading to the edges which does not in any way affect the image area.
Each of these artist proofs is signed by the artist.
