About the artist David Weston
As a painter, David Weston is well known for his wide variety of subjects.  Among his most favorite themes are landscapes, seascapes, interiors and exteriors of great houses and transport subjects especially steam train rail art.
He is perhaps best known for the latter; indeed, he is regarded by many as one of the foremost British painters in the transport art field. David's work is enjoyed by many including His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh, who invited David to Buckingham Palace for an informal discussion that centered on David's paintings, and the theme of industry and art.
